summer enrichment 2021

Program Details

The program is designed to provide a fun and social environment where students can improve their math and reading skills and explore life skills helpful for personal development. Students will participate in daily activities that will be geared towards supporting educational, social, and emotional development. Students will be administered a pre and a post test in Mathematics and Reading/ELA in order to measure student achievement and growth. During the first four weeks of the program, the student will receive content from the prior year.  We do not assume that a student promoted to the next grade level has mastered the content.  Teachers will reinforce prior knowledge in Math and Reading from the prior year.

Typically, during the following three weeks of the program, teachers will introduce content that students will see during the upcoming school year, which gives them a head start when returning to school. Lastly, the final week of the program is our Fun Explosion week, which is full of games, recreational activities, field trips, and a field day extravaganza that the student will never forget.
